Puroclean of West Phoenix is Hiring a Water Restoration Technician Near Phoenix, AZ

Position Overview
This position responds to water losses, sewer backups, and mold remediation. It also includes various construction tasks & and demolition. Technicians in this department respond to Emergency Services day and night and train new laborers. We are looking to obtain career-minded individuals with a desire to learn all facets of this department. Puroclean of West Phoenix deeply appreciates the level of commitment required for this position. The starting pay for this position is $20-$25 per hour.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of experience required.
  • IICRC WRT Certification is required.
  • This position requires that employees be on-call per the department's on-call schedule – including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintains a satisfactory or insurable driving record & hold a valid driver's license.
  • Due to program guidelines, all employees must be able to pass a satisfactory background screening on a biennial basis.
  • Due to program requirements, this position requires employees to live within the office's service area. This office will service the West Phoenix and Glendale, AZ areas. The zip codes for this service area are as follows: 85009, 85031, 85033, 85035, 85037, 85043, 85301, 85302, 85303, 85304, 85305, 85307, 85309, 85323, 85326, 85335, 85338, 85340, 85345, 85351, 85353, 85355, 85374, 85375, 85378, 85379, 85381, 85392, 85395.
  • Experience is helpful but not required.
  • Wearing PPE properly is essential.
  • Willingness to become IICRC Certified to grow with the company.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and physical.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Communicate with adjusters and TPAs for approvals and job updates.
  • The ability to write sketches and determine the scope of work.
  • Accurately utilizes industry-specific platforms, including but not limited to Mica, Dash, and Xactware.
  • Train new employees on all facets of the production process using the crawl, walk, run method.
  • Performs on-site production services, including, but not limited to, water extraction, demolition, and mold remediation.
  • Place proper equipment and quantity to maximize drying effectiveness. Take moisture readings.
  • Accurately complete all the necessary paperwork and take the photos required for each job.
  • This position requires basic knowledge of smartphones, tablets, etc.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintains functionality and service of equipment.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.

  • Technically competent to learn industry-specific programs.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to ever-changing situations.
  • Familiar with basic hand tools.
