Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments and collections.

Responsibilities:

- Set up accounts payable system

- Organize current Quickbooks Online for more accurate reporting

- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies

- Prepare and issue accounts receivable invoices to customers

- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances

- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable statements

- Utilize accounting software to record financial transactions and generate reports

- Assist with governmental accounting requirements, such as tax filings and compliance

- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies

- Assist with office administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and communicating effectively with others

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role

- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and MS Office Suite

- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations and procedures

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
