Purelight Power is Hiring a Payroll specialist Near Williams, OR

Description :

Purelight Power is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to

join our team! As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and

managing all aspects of our weekly multi-state payroll. You will work

collaboratively with HR, Operations, and IT in support of accurate and timely

processing of payroll. We expect you to learn / know and adhere to all laws and

regulations related to the payroll function.

MAJOR TASKS

  • Administer payroll and taxes in a multi-state environment.
  • Ensure timely processing of weekly payroll and related withholding filings and activities.
  • Receive, review, respond to, and track garnishment and other payroll deductions.
  • Provide payroll files and payroll deduction information to Accounting for the general ledger and for accounts payable.
  • Follow up on any errors and ensure resolutions have occurred.
  • Document and maintain all payroll processes.
  • Support and maintain effective internal controls for the payroll function.
  • Support and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain current knowledge of payroll practices and changes in payroll laws.
  • Support Accounting and HR Management with inquiries and research or analysis.

Requirements :

A minimum of five years of payroll administration experience is required.

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships.
  • Experience using online payroll systems.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in professional applications such as Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Compensation details : 33-39 Hourly Wage
