Description

Title:  Production Operator

Department: Screen Print

Location: Holliston, MA

Shift: Mon-Friday 7:30-4:00

Pure Hockey is seeking a Production Operator for the screen print department. This role is responsible for assisting with the production of screen-printed material. This includes production, coating and cleaning of screens used in the screen-printing process and quality check finished product based on customer specifications. The ideal candidate is energetic, hardworking, and willing to learn. This is a great opportunity to further your skill set and continue to gain knowledge within a growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Review work order, observe specifications and any special notes, and prepare work area to start to print. 
  • Coordinate with screen print manager to set up screens according to work order specifications, adds inks, and produces a test print for graphic approval.
  • Loads garments on screen print press by sizes keeping track of size requirements.
  • Operates the apparel press and manual press by loading and unloading garments.
  • Remove garments from the dryer, sort and count the finished product.
  • Quality check decorated garments based on customer specifications.
  • Responsible for general cleaning of screens. 
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous shop or production experience a plus, but not required.
  • Understand how to efficiently print jobs and meet deadlines while maintaining a high-quality standard.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact with team members effectively to fulfill daily tasks.
  • Must be organized and able to follow instructions.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 5-50 pounds. 
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Willing to learn
