We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Delivery Dispatcher to join our team. As a Delivery Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the delivery schedules for our fleet of drivers. Your ability to efficiently manage logistics, communicate effectively, and handle time-sensitive deliveries will be crucial to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
This individual will work 30-40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
· Dispatching and Route Planning: Receive delivery requests, organize orders, and efficiently plan delivery routes to maximize driver efficiency and meet customer delivery windows.
· Coordination with Drivers: Communicate with delivery drivers to provide them with delivery details, schedule updates, and any specific customer requirements.
· Order Tracking: Monitor the progress of deliveries, ensuring that drivers are on schedule and addressing any potential delays proactively.
· Addressing Delivery Issues: Handle any delivery challenges, such as incorrect addresses, traffic delays, or vehicle breakdowns, to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
· Customer Communication: Interact with customers to provide delivery updates, confirm delivery times, and address any inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
· Order Documentation: Accurately record all delivery-related information, including order details, delivery times, and customer interactions.
· Assign Responsibility: Delegate additional responsibilities to drivers during idle periods, such as stickering products, restocking inventory, or performing light maintenance tasks to optimize productivity and maintain a well-organized delivery operation.
· Safety Compliance: Ensure that drivers adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while on the road, promoting a safe and accident- free work environment.
· Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including warehouse staff and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery operations.
· Efficiency Improvement: Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to the delivery process to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
· Reporting: Generate regular reports on delivery performance, driver efficiency, and customer feedback to management.
· Work Scheduling: Work cohesively with other dispatchers to create and update weekly schedules.
Schedule we are looking for: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat & Sun 2 PM to close.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
