This position can work from West Lafayette or Indianapolis, Indiana.

Essential Functions

• Partner with Principal to manage the deal flow pipeline including the triaging and exploration of inbound companies.
• Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities including performing market research and writing investment memos.
• Manage the Purdue Ventures deal database, providing transparency into the status of companies in the pipeline.
• Provide fund management support including continuously working to improve investment criteria.
• Work with leadership to build and enhance relationships with key stakeholders including attending local and regional events.
• Participate actively in team meetings and discussions on topics such as market dynamics, sectors of interest, and pipeline opportunities.

Required Education / Experience and Benefits

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years' experience preferred.
• Experience in VC or Finance desirable.
