Job Summary:

• Position is full-time, defined as 4 days of 10-hour shifts scheduled during the work week
• Responsible for seeing 15 patients a day in clinic (allows for 1 hour of admin time)
• Weekend call is shared amongst the advanced practice provider team (1 in 10)
• Inpatient rounding with attending cardiologist alongside internal medicine residents

Requirements:

• Masters of Science in Nursing
• Post Bachelor’s Nurse Practitioner Program
• Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Practitioner Exam through an accredited organization
• Licensed in the state of WA as an ARNP by the time of employment
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
• Current BLS & ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart

Preferred candidates:

• 3 years of experience as an ARNP in cardiology services
• ARNP with previous RN experience in cardiology
• Acute Care Management of the cardiac patient
• Prior exposure to outpatient cardiac management
