Pulliam Restoration is Hiring a Restoration Technician Near Columbia, SC

We are looking for a skilled and experienced restoration technician to join our team. Restoration technicians help people recover from property damage caused by disasters such as fires, floods, and mold. You will be responsible for assessing damage, cleaning and drying affected areas, removing and replacing damaged materials, and sanitizing restored homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the extent of property damage caused by fire, water, mold, or other disasters.
  • Clean and dry affected areas to prevent further damage and mold growth.
  • Remove and replace damaged materials, such as drywall, flooring, and insulation.
  • Sanitize restored homes to make them safe for occupants to return.
  • Work with insurance adjusters and homeowners to ensure that restoration projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain and operate all necessary restoration equipment and tools.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in restoration or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of restoration techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Desired Skills:

  • Certification in restoration or construction.
  • Experience with water mitigation and mold remediation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
