Role: ION Java Consultant

Needs to have recent ***ION experience in Financial Service***

Location: NYC, NY (may request face to face interview!) must work on site 3 days a week

Duration: Long term 1-2 years

Background Test: Background and Drug test will be required.

Your experience and skills have:

• Good java experience (minimum 5 years)
• Good understanding of low-latency, multi-threaded code
• Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Exposure to functional programming is also highly desirable
• Experience of working in agile teams
• Solid understanding of Rates and Credit bonds and derivatives
• Detailed understanding of the nuances of trading venues such as Bloomberg, TradeWeb
• The following are highly desirable but not a strict prerequisite.
• Previous ION experience, to an expert level
• Previous experience of bond pricing with PX
• Experience in automated testing and continuous integration
• Experience of Python, Perl and other scripting languages Experience of Kafka
