This role must be an intuitive, independent thinker and unflinching team mentor, as well as having a deep well of in-platform experience. The position places equal emphasis on creative solutions to media challenges and in-depth media knowledge and executional rigor. As a full-service agency, we prioritize diverse, unique experience, and above all creativity.This role will be a leader on the digital and social side of the business. They should have a fluency across the social landscape and how the various platforms work and interact. This individual should be able to speak to reporting and measurement on these platforms and how leverage analytics as part of a media recommendation. This person is also expected to be able to lead the day-to-day workings of an account.Responsibilities include:Develop and execute creative multi-channel media solutions based on client needsSteward the execution of plans, goals, and budgetsSupport media strategy developmentQA in-platform and review team channel recommendationsOversee trafficking and tag planning and implementation across applicable channelsManage day-to-day client requestsOversee campaign execution from buying to campaign reportingBuild and analyze target audience using syndicated tools and in platformMaintain agency relationship with senior clients and outside vendors to foster development and execution of media plansFacilitate cross department communication for full-service businessCollaborate with internal agency teams, including creativesLead communication with clients and outside vendors to facilitate development and execution of media plansLead internal brainstorm sessions in the strategic development processCreate buyable “big ideas” that align with client objectivesPossess a strong comprehension of clients’ business objectivesOversee the developing, writing, presentation, and execution of paid social media and tactical plansProactively address process and communications issues and impedimentsParticipate in agency-wide strategic initiatives and new business pitchesResponsible for coaching, guidance, leadership, and performance management of all direct reportsQualificationsThis position requires prior 7 years’ experience in a managerial media planning role, with complete fluency across all social vehicles (Meta, TikTok, X/Twitter, Snap, Pinterest, etc.) and with experience in remarketing/retargeting.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSStrong written and verbal communication skillsDeep experience setting up campaigns within Meta, TikTok, X/Twitter, Snap, Pinterest, and YouTube platformsExperience across retargeting retail platforms like CriteoExperienced user of social and audience planning tools (e.g. Meta’s Audience Insights, MRI-Simmons, Comscore, Google Ads, etc.)Proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint/KeynoteProficiency in media-related planning tools (e.g., Comscore, Nielsen, Vivvix, Pathmatics, etc.)Some experience with social listening and social publishing partners is valuable, but not required (e.g., Muckrack, Brandwatch, NetBase, Facebook Insights, Khoros, Sprinklr)Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with precision in the quick-turn execution of campaigns, content, and client documents
