Job Summary:

Using NDT method magnetic flux leakage, the EMI operator inspects each pipe full body to ensure there are no imperfections on pipe.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspects steel tubing, casing, drill pipe, and other tubular oil well equipment for defects, using magnetic and optical inspection equipment.
• Follow instructions from technical parameters.
• Use MRP, taper, thread high, lead, and ring gauges.
• Change unit over
• Operate thickness gauge and pit gauge
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements: 

Education: High School or equivalent

Years of Experience: 1 year of MT of MFL experience; level 2 MT or level 1 MFL certification preferred.
