PSI is Hiring an Utility Worker #55400 Near Huntsville, AL

Job Description

Hours:

· 1st Shift open- Monday - Friday

· Mandatory overtime is required at times

Compensation for General Laborer:

· $18.00 1st shift

· Temp-to-hire opportunity

Duties include

  • Responsible for digging trenches, installing natural gas pipelines; and backfilling excavations.
  • Responsible for entering and exiting excavations varying in depth from 2’ to 5’
  • Shovel dirt, rake dirt or gravel.
  • Carry materials or equipment to and from the truck to a jobsite
  • Perform basic pipe fitting with pipe sizes from ½” to 2”
  • Tapping and stopping off gas service tees from the main line, in addition to numerous push/pull activities associated with underground construction work
  • Additional safety sensitive duties as required
  • Will read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
  • Will work both inside and outside regardless of elements: heat, cold, and rain.

Required experience:

· No experience needed

· HSD/GED required
