Quality Control Assistant will check the quality which includes inspect, test, and sample materials, parts, or products for defects and any deviations from specifications of incoming materials or products for a company, as well as the production procedures.

This job involves tasks such as running tests, keeping a record of defects, analyzing products, and overseeing procedures.

Requirements

Strong ruler/measurement skills: 1 year

Quality control/assurance: 1 year

Mechanical back round and lathe turning knowledge a plus

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

-Executes quality processes
-Draft and submit documentation as necessary related to Quality
-Identify and Process non-conformance
-Track the progress of corrective actions across the business to ensure a response to a resolution.

Basic Qualifications:

- Equivalent work experience in a quality and /or manufacturing related discipline
-Personal computer skills and the ability to use standard software tools

Strong Candidates will also have:

-Prior experience working in the quality field
-Good written and oral communications skills
-Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
-Good interpersonal, communications, teamwork and collaboration skills
-Ability to work with diverse teams of employees
