Job Summary:
The Solutions Consultant is a pivotal member of our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level OpenText and Microsoft solutions. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of large-scale OpenText and Microsoft solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their business challenges, gather requirements, and propose tailored solutions leveraging OpenText products (e.g., XM Fax, XM Cloud, RightFax Connect, Fax2Mail cloud fax solutions, RightFax, OpenText Cloud Capture/Capture Center, B2B EDI) and Microsoft technologies.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of cloud implementations, Microsoft platforms (AD, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, Windows Server technologies), Azure, Office 365, and networking infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and technical support to address client issues and ensure optimal solution performance.
- Project Delivery Support: Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless technical execution within project timelines.
- Documentation & Training: Develop clear technical documentation and deliver effective training to clients and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in Professional Services, Consulting, or a similar client-facing technical role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, cloud implementations, networking, and enterprise content management systems. Familiarity with B2B EDI and VoIP/FoIP/CUCM infrastructure is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
