Responsibilities:

• Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment in our portfolio of commercial buildings including HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, doors/hardware, and life safety systems.
• Promptly respond to and complete all tenant service requests. Create relationships and maintain open communication with tenants.
• Perform minor, handyman-like repairs to the buildings and systems including replacement of plumbing fixtures, electrical troubleshooting, ceiling tiles, painting, minor carpentry, and mechanical/HVAC repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and ensure the proper operation of lighting, fire systems, plumbing systems, doors/locks, and more.
• Maintain the facilities’ compliance with governmental regulations (i.e. ADA, CFC, OSHA and OSHA training, etc.).
• Keep all mechanical and storage areas in a clean and orderly fashion.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building maintenance, construction, or HVAC.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, establish workflow priorities and work independently.
• Able to physically perform duties at the speed, mobility, and force necessary to the task.
• Excellent oral communication skills; a real “people” person who likes communicating with people and developing great professional relationships.
• Prior employment history that demonstrates the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities, producing accurate results in a highly organized manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
