This position is responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in providing pharmacy services. The Pharmacy Assistant performs non-discretionary functions as allowed by law which include filing, counting medications, stocking medications, answering and triage of phone calls, non-patient specific drug packaging with appropriate documentation and billing functions.

Additional duties that may be assigned are outlined in the Ancillary Personnel Utilization Plan.

Required Qualifications :

• Upon hire : Washington Pharmacy Assistant License
• Experience using a personal computer and common software applications such as Word and Excel.

Retail, infusion, or long-term care pharmacy experience.
