Pharmacy Technician – Compounding - Sterile
CareerStaff Unlimited is currently searching for a Pharmacy Technician in Tukwila, WA. We need a full-time temp pharmacy technician towork in our staging and verification room. We would be looking for someone to fill a 4-6 month contract, Monday-Friday. In addition to our standard benefits, our Pharmacy Techs are given the opportunity to work in a wide variety of settings.
Hourly Rate: $28
BENEFITS FOR A PHARMACY TECHNICIAN:
- Monday – Friday
- 4-6 month Contract
- 40 hours per week
- Weekly direct deposit
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Pharmacy Technician Certification in state of practice
- Excellent knowledge of USP 797
- 1 years of experience
- Must work well in team settings
- Must be very responsible and timely
- Ability to pick up on computer systems quickly
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Working in the staging and verification room and it is more of a physical job, you will be on your feet all day.
- Pulling meds from the shelf based on compound records and orders that come in throught the window.
- Preparing the medication and supplies to go into the clean room. When they go in the clean room, everything needs to be disinfected.
- Stocking duties that could involve lifting 25-35 lbs.
- Minimal phone calls, but some comunication phone calls that need to happen.
- General support for the rooms; supporting the pharmacists like taking out the trash, labeling bags, etc.
- Knowledge of USP 797- sterlie compounding standards
