Description

The CNA 2 / HUC is a key person within the decentralized nursing unit, who provides overall administrative and technical support in the operation of the unit;

collaborates with other staff and leaders in the development, oversight, and operation of the unit; and performs CNA II patient care duties.

CNA2 - Day Surgery at Providence Medford Medical Center is a 1 FTE, Full-time position on a Day shift.

Required Qualifications :

Coursework / Training - Health Unit Coordinator or secretarial coursework along with a medical terminology course or experience.

Or equivalent educ / experience,

• 1 year experience performing secretarial duties in a health care environment.
• Coursework / Training - Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course. Or equivalent educ / experience,
• Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.
• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Experience with a variety of software applications.

Preferred Qualifications :

• 1 year - Acute care hospital experience, ideally performing CNA and / or Health Unit Coordinator duties.
• 1 year - Experience as a CNA 2.
