Providence is Hiring a CNA2-Day Surgery 0.9FTE Night Near Medford, OR

Description

The CNA 2/HUC is a key person within the decentralized nursing unit, who provides overall administrative and technical support in the operation of the unit; collaborates with other staff and leaders in the development, oversight, and operation of the unit; and performs CNA II patient care duties. Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

CNA2 - Day Surgery at Providence Medford Medical Center is a 0.9 FTE, Full-time position on a Night shift.

$4,000 Hiring bonus for full-time positions and relocation assistance offered for qualified external caregivers.

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training and Health Unit Coordinator or secretarial coursework along with a medical terminology course or experience or

  • Health Unit Coordinator: 1 year experience performing secretarial duties in a health care environment.

  • Coursework/Training and Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or

  • CNA 2 coursework: Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.

  • Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

  • Experience with a variety of software applications.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1 year of Acute care hospital experience, ideally performing CNA and/or Health Unit Coordinator duties.

  • 1 year of experience as a CNA 2.
