Providence is currently looking for a highly-motivated individual with excellent communication and organization skills to take on the role of our Intake Coordinator. The Intake Coordinator is the primary contact for referral sources and works closely with all departments of the organization. The candidate should have extensive knowledge of the regulatory guidelines governing home health admissions. Responsibilities and desired skills include:

  • Provides excellent customer service in line with our SERVE values
  • Main point of contact for all incoming calls and faxes, with the ability to quickly and accurately process and distribute information
  • Communicates with hospitals, inpatient facilities, and patient caregivers regarding upcoming patient discharges to home health services
  • Completes data entry and paperwork required for new referrals
  • Communicates with marketers, referral sources, field staff and other office staff respectfully and in a timely manner to assure excellent patient care
  • Monitor and manage initial and continuing insurance authorizations and patient eligibility
  • Reconciles contract labor invoices
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Organized, teachable, great work ethic, willing and able to solve problems
  • Wellsky/Kinnser knowledge preferred
  • LPN desirable to assist with reading orders and assisting with nursing calls

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Home health intake: 1 year (Required)
  • Hospice care: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • LPN (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Oklahoma City, OK 73112: Relocate before starting work (Required)
