Certified Home Health Aide ("CHHA") - Providence Little Company Of Mary Home Health

Schedule: Part Time, Days

Location: Santa Monica to Inglewood and surrounding areas

The Certified Home Health Aide ("CHHA") provides personal care and homemaking services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Therapist. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.

Required Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training and Home Health Aide Certificate Program
  • Upon hire: California Home Health Aide License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide.

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
