The Clinical Pharmacist – Emergency Medicine provides care to adult and pediatric patients in our emergency department. Our ED has over 80,000 visits annually and is currently undergoing an expansion from 58 to 81 beds. The clinical pharmacist responds to medical emergencies. The clinical pharmacist will also have a secondary clinical practice area of Pediatrics/NICU and will support operational/distributive pharmacy services. Clinical pharmacists are preceptors for our large residency class. Our clinical pharmacists work 10-hour shifts (weekdays and every third weekend), which will be primarily evenings.

The Clinical Pharmacist has the responsibility for the provision of high-quality, individualized, cost-effective pharmaceutical care and integrated pharmacy operational services in collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize patient's medication therapy outcomes and quality of life.

Required Qualifications:

• PharmD - Pharmacy OR Bachelor's Degree - Pharmacy
• Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Acute care hospital pharmacy experience, 1 year or equivalent experience.
• Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.
• Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency
