Providence is calling a Compliance Specialist who will:

  • Provide compliance and privacy education program support to management across Providence St. Joseph Health and its Affiliates in furtherance of our mission and to provide an effective compliance program
  • Possess mid-level skills in project management and teaching
  • Develop greater expertise in certain regulatory, compliance and privacy topics
  • Work with highly sensitive information
  • Responsibilities are diverse supporting Providence St. Joseph Health and its affiliates, including hospitals, physician clinics, skilled nursing facilities, health plan, medical foundations, educational institutions, child care centers, in-home services, and Providence Strategic Management Services (PSMS).
  • This position may require some overnight travel as needed

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree Healthcare, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or another related field of study
  • Compliance/privacy experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or another related field of study
  • 3 years of project management experience in compliance / privacy
  • MS Office Intermediate Level Skill
  • 3 years progressive RIS internal audit, information security or compliance/privacy experience
  • 3 years progressive Health Information Management, Accreditation Services, or Revenue Cycle Services experience

  • Max: $55.33

  • Min: $31.96
  • Max: $51.58

  • Min: $30.50
  • Max: $ 49.23

NorCal (Napa, Sonoma):

  • Min: $40.09
  • Max: $64.71

SoCal, NorCal (Humboldt), AK: (Kodiak, Seward, Valdez):

  • Min: $35.73
  • Max: $57.67

MT:

  • Min: $27.60
