PROVIDENCE HEALTH & SERVICES is Hiring a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Near Loco, GA

Under the general supervision of the Administrative Director of the Laboratory, performs accurate analysis of laboratory specimens. Must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency and understanding in laboratory procedures in one or more sections of the Pathology Department or demonstrates competency in three or more sections, to facilitate quality patient care and diagnosis. Participates in solution of technical problems requiring a great degree of independent judgment and assists in development of testing in the assigned section(s). Participates in training and teaching responsibilities of the department.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical laboratory science (Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Biology) OR a related life science
  • Required upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California Or
  • Required upon hire: California Clinical Chemist Scientist License Or
  • Required upon hire: California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License Or
  • Required upon hire: California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License Or
  • Required upon hire: California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License Or
  • Required upon hire: California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License Or
  • Required upon hire: California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License Or
  • Required upon hire: California Clinical Hematology Scientist License Or
  • Required upon hire: California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License Or
  • Required upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License

Preferred qualifications:

  • Hospital laboratory experience preferred, but not required
