The **Customer Service Representative** position will involve servicing the existing clients of the agency by answering multiple phone lines, providing customer service to agency customers, receiving and processing insurance payments for existing customers, drafting emails & reports, and other additional duties as directed by the agent or associates.

Insurance industry (Property & Casualty) experience and knowledge is required,

**General Lines Property & Casualty License is required to start.**

Salary: $33000.00 - $38000.00 per year

**Responsibilities**

* Immediately greet all customers entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.

* Answer incoming calls to the agency.

* Responds to all service inquiries sent via email to the agency.

* Take premium payments from customers.

* Advise all customers of cross sell opportunities including financial products.

* Informs customers any discounts and new or upgraded coverages using specified talk paths

* Schedule annual reviews for the sales team.

* Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty

* Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.

**Requirements**

* Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful and be coachable.

* Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.

* Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.

* Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations

* Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgencY

* **Customer service experience in insurance is greatly preferred.**

* **P&C license is required** or must be willing to obtain the required license to start
