Responsibility
- Conducting eye examinations to diagnose and treat visual and ocular disorders
- Prescribing and fitting corrective lenses or eyeglasses.
- Providing expert advice on eye care and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Monitoring and managing eye diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry.
- Alabama optometry license in good standing.
- Any optometrist will be considered
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
