Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications
- Load materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality output
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain product specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal condition
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
- Proficient in operating CNC machines and understanding technical drawings
- Knowledge of machining processes, including milling, turning, and drilling
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and the use of measuring tools such as calipers
- Experience with CAM programming is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts and handle materials in a warehouse setting
- Basic welding skills are desirable but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
