**Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be have proven experience in a supply chain or buyer role, responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating and monitoring contracts, maintaining supplier relationships, auditing supplier performance, and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials for a variety of ongoing projects.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.

- Source and procure materials from approved suppliers.

- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, and delivery speed.

- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and safety stock required based off of customer forecasts.

- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate supply levels.

- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to minimize shortages.

- Utilize an ERP system procurement activities.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

**Experience:**

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.

- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role (REQUIRED).

- Strong knowledge of materials management, supply chain management, logistics, and procurement processes.

- Proficiency in negotiating contracts and securing favorable terms.

- Familiarity with ERP systems or other procurement software is preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and internal relations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.00 - $41.00 per hour
