Proserv manufactures, services, inspects, and provides training in the material handling industry. This is a chance to assists the lead controller in an established growing company. This person will advance and take on more accounting roles as they gain experience.

The ideal candidate has some on the job experience with a degree in accounting or finance. This person must be self-motivated, attention to detail and be able to multi-task.

Job Requirements:

· Process Payroll in a timely manner

· Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed.

· Contribute to maintaining chart of accounts.

· Contribute to maintaining an orderly accounting system.

· Assist in the AR and AP process.

· Compile sales tax reports and submit to jurisdictions.

· Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner.

· Contribute to end of the month closings.

· Assist with yearly accounting audits by gathering information related to auditors’ requests and generally being a buffer between the controller and the auditors.

· Assist the team with projects that come up throughout the year.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline

Expertise in Microsoft Office products
