Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent. As a Leasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of property management will contribute to the success of our leasing operations.

Duties
Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide information about available units -
Assist applicants with the leasing process, including application completion, background checks, and lease agreements -
Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants regarding rental properties, lease terms, and community amenities -
Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages or repairs needed -
Maintain accurate records of rental applications, leases, and tenant interactions -
Collaborate with property maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution of tenant maintenance requests -
Address tenant concerns or conflicts in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications
Previous experience in property management or real estate is preferred -
Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations -
Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 programs is a plus -
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with tenants and address their needs effectively -
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously -
Proficient in legal administrative tasks such as drafting contracts and maintaining files -
