The Promontory Club is looking to fill a vacancy for a Food and Beverage Fine Dining Server Part time.

Our Fine Dining servers meet the member’s food and beverage needs in a friendly and professional manner that is consistent with the highest standards of Promontory Club fine dining restaurants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Always have a positive attitude and be a team-oriented person.
• Greet the Member(s) in a friendly and professional manner developing relationships and familiarities with our members.
• Knowledge of modern food trends, wines and spirits.
• Familiar with the Fine Dining Steps of Service.
• Solicit the Member's food and beverage order, make suggestions and explain choices as needed; communicate special requests, dietary and allergic conditions to the kitchen staff.
• Prepare and present the check, performing necessary cashier service to process the payment.
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of guest's table.
• Help to maintain a very clean and professional looking dining floor at all times.
• Complete opening and closing side work in an efficient and thorough manner.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work practices to management;

complete safety training and certifications.

Other duties as assigned or as required to ensure the guest has a positive and satisfactory dining experience.

Qualifications

• EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah food handler's certification within the first two weeks of employment;
• must have a valid alcohol server training certification recognized by the Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control (UDABC);

must be at least 21 years of age.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Two (2) years of previous serving experience in a fine dining restaurant required; previous experience working with a system is preferred;

must have good written and verbal communication skills; must have a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment all while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS : Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time; ability to lift 20lbs frequently and the ability to lift 50lbs occasionally;

must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays, and weekends when needed; must be willing to work at any Promontory F&B outlet when required.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Wages start at $ tips and will be determined upon employment and will be commensurate with experience.
