Role Overview

As our Finance and Accounting Analyst, you will be a key member of our Finance team and play a pivotal role in our mission. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll not only help manage our day-to-day accounting operations but also provide insightful financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic cash flow planning. You’ll be instrumental in guiding the company’s financial direction, ensuring stability and laying a solid foundation for our consistent growth and long-term success.

What you’ll do

• Manage essential accounting functions with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in areas such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll Accounting, and Monthly Close processes.
• Dive deep into our financial systems, gaining a comprehensive understanding of revenue and cost-tracking mechanisms; consistently use this knowledge to perform detailed scenario analyses that underpin sound business decisions.
• Consistently monitor, report, and forecast critical financial indicators, including cash flow and revenue, ensuring the company stays ahead of potential financial shifts.
• Engage in proactive financial planning, working in tandem with other teams to set realistic budgets and financial targets that align with the company’s long-term vision.
• Uphold the highest standards of financial data integrity, ensuring that stakeholders can easily access and trust the accuracy of financial information provided to inform key decisions.

What will enable you

• An enthusiasm for automation and a collaborative approach to completing tasks with precision.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally within a software startup or tech-driven environment.
• Completed undergraduate studies in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets, including managing complex financial models and datasets.
• A desire for professional growth in finance and accounting, with an openness to learning everything from intricate payroll processes to future product strategies.
