ProMedica is Hiring a Patient Care Supervisor - Milk Lab - Full Time - Days Near Toledo, OH
Accountabilities
- Participates in the selection, orientation, and evaluation of milk technicians and dieticians.
- Maintains the milk technician schedule, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Handles budgetary surveillance.
- Manages technology and software systems.
- Initiates and monitors follow-through for maintenance or repair of equipment.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Establishes and revises new and existing policies and procedures related to the nutritional needs of patients through safe preparation, storage, and delivery of infant feedings.
- Ensures data is collected for quality review.
- Monitors safety event reporting and provides recommendations/solutions for improvement.
- Acts as a liaison between the milk and nutrition lab, dieticians, and participating ECH departments with communication and distribution of pertinent information.
- Manages supply inventory, ordering and stocking.
- Functions as Milk Technician when assigned (See Milk Technician job description—addendum)
- Performs other duties as directed.
