Job Description:

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for setting up, remitting payments, and answering writs of garnishments for clients utilizing our full garnishment service. The position ensures we are maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local jurisdictional law for wages attachments. The Data Entry Specialist works closely with the Operations Team to provide direction and clarification assistance to clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Excels in customer service to ensure all clients are highly satisfied.
• Processes and reviews federal and multi-state wage attachments daily.
• Enters orders timely, within 2 days of receipt.
• Monitors existing garnishments to get updated balances from agencies; starts new orders when prior orders paid in full.
• Audits orders setup by other team members.
• Audits and scans all garnishment and termination letters.
• Logs agency mail and garnishment checks daily.
• Prepares/writes termination letters.
• Works with agencies on compliance/legal questions.
• Audits daily reports/logs.
• Monitors the garnishment email box.
• Serves as a resource for garnishment questions from internal and external customers.
• Documents new or changing procedures that affect the garnishment process.
• Responds to all court orders within the legal timeframe set on the orders, to include correspondence with courts, branches, law offices and team members.
• Stays up-to-date on payroll regulations as to ensure compliance as well as for certification upkeep when relevant.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High understanding of and ability to develop proficiency in Company software and all other applicable software programs.
• Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and accountable.
• Excellent communication skills, including in person, via phone, and email.
• Ability to manage and complete multiple projects and activities with strict time sensitive deadlines.

Compensation: $15- $20/ hour
