What You'll Be Doing: 

The purpose of the Electronics Test Engineer is to validate testing activities and develop procedures, methods and tools for testing, verification, and certification of the company’s products. The Test Engineer maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist and train Test Technicians in debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
• Complete individual project plan schedule for implementation of new equipment or software that includes training and process specification completion. Complete hands-on implementation with production personnel.
• Prepare test documentation and reports.
• Read and interpret Engineering/Customer drawings, finished prints, specifications, and schematics for proper application to testing processes.
• Develop procedures, methods and tools for test, verification, and certification of the company’s products.
• Ensure equipment is properly tested, calibrated, and certified according to the corresponding procedures.
• Record, analyze and interpret test data.
• Validate testing activities and results of manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure compliance to electrical safety procedures and rules are strictly adhered to.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis when repetitive failure of company’s products occurs.
• Continuously monitor the testing processes for improvement opportunities.
• Follow standard practices and procedures to analyze data for evaluation of test solutions and driving improvements to existing methods.
• Propose process improvements to manufacturing engineering related to troubleshooting analysis.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
