Title: Accountant Temp-to-Hire

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly financial close process, creating and inputting journal entries, investigating and resolving incorrect entries
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with Internal/External Audits
• Participate in analysis of new accounting systems for the company.
• Participate in the preparation of annual audited GAAP financial statements for the Company.
• Work closely with the accounting staff to streamline and document processes and procedures.
• Assist in the correction of data contained in the accounting system.
• Help to maintain the fixed assets records and calculate depreciation
• Create and maintain lease schedule
• Assist with AP detail input
• Ad-hoc Responsibilities, as requested

Skillset/ Background Needed

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Expertise in accounting rules and financial processes
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in financial statement preparation and month-end closing processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Great Plains accounting software (preferred but not necessary)
• Experience with Microsoft Office software
• Knowledge of Excel and formula creation
• Attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task

Pay: $20.50 - $25.00 per hour
