Project Hope Autism Services is Hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Near Jupiter, FL

Full or Part-Time RBTs.

Center-based position with no travel. No weekends. Room for advancement for qualified, experienced RBTs.

Project Hope Autism Services (PHAS) is a center-based program located in Jupiter, Florida providing ABA therapy to children aged 2 to 12yrs, old, with Autism and related disorders: Early intervention for ages 2-6, after-school ABA services for grades K-5, as well as in-school/community services.

We are seeking experienced RBTs who are fun, dedicated, team players who work well with others and kids of all ages, and are open to direction and learning new strategies. General Responsibilities

  • Provide direct behavioral services to clients in individual and group settings.
  • Provide a fun, creative, and individualized learning environment for each client.
  • Implement behavioral plans and procedures developed by a BCBA.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records, both written and using software for data collection.
  • Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients, staff, etc. at all times.
  • Participate in team meetings and client case reviews as required.

Skills, Abilities, and Requirements

  • Knowledge of the basic principles of applied behavior analysis.
  • Creativity to make learning fun, individualized, and motivational based on each client’s abilities and needs.
  • Experience with children ages 1-12 preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to work with the team, parents, supervisors, and outside agencies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral form of the English language.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and manipulate up to 50 lbs in weight.
  • Must pass Level 2 background screening.

Education, Training, and Experience

  • Possess a minimum of a high school diploma. A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, special education, ABA, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with Autism or related special needs (preferably as an RBT) required.

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
