We are a local engineering firm seeking a civil/structural designer with 10 years of experience. Candidate will be responsible for creating construction drawings based upon the needs of a specific project. This will involve compiling data, determining design information, engineering calculations, coordinating with engineer and other designers and checking drawings. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft, Excel, Word, 3D Modeling, and experience with Advanced Steel and AutoCAD. Will need to have field experience and be able to work in industrial facilities.

· Provide structural modeling and drawings.

· Excellent organizational, design and drafting skills.

· Ability to easily move about in an industrial facility.

· Ability to read, understand and review engineering drawings.

· Must be able to communicate and interact with engineers to provide design solutions.

· Must be results oriented.

· Attention to detail.

· Ability to check work to ensure accuracy of spelling, drawing format and organization,

dimension and tolerance specification and organization of engineering process.

· Advanced Steel experience.

· Experience with AutoCAD.

· Perform design from conception to implementation.

· Ensure design concepts adhere to applicable industry standards.

· Make sure work is completed with assigned budgets.

· Performing fieldwork necessary to gather field data, check tie-ins and provide

construction support.

· Familiarity with and utilizing department design and drafting standards.

· Recognizing and communicating scope and design changes promptly.

· Experience with Advanced Steel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,141.44 per year
