Project Chesapeake is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Edgewood, MD

Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy, and treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, reliable, and experienced full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team!

Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful independent living.

Hours: Mon-Thurs 9:00am-5:00pm; Fri 9:00am-3:00pm

Responsibilities include:

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries
  • Answer incoming calls from clients/probation drug court
  • Coordinating scheduling, initial insurance authorization (private/state insurance), and financial obligations for clients
  • Collects and logs client payments
  • Overseeing the processing of client intakes/pull requested client documents
  • Uses EMR- BestNotes daily
  • Assists with specimen collecting as needed

Qualifications include:

  • At least 2 years’ experience with administrative duties.
  • Computer literate and experience working in electronic medical records systems.
  • Possess sound judgement, professionalism, and compassion for client care.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
