The Role:As the Dock 17 Lead Host, you’ll be the maestro of our guest experience, orchestrating everything from warm welcomes to fond farewells. You’ll lead our host team with confidence, managing reservations, ensuring the restaurant's cleanliness, and maintaining the high standard of hospitality Dock 17 is celebrated for.

Your Impact:

• Lead by Example: Guide and support the host team, assigning duties and ensuring tasks are completed with finesse.
• Warm Welcomes Guaranteed: Greet guests with a smile, manage seating efficiently, and handle special requests with ease.
• Master of Reservations: Keep those reservations in check and seating arrangements optimized to ensure everyone gets a taste of Dock 17’s magic.
• Training Prodigy: Elevate our service by training new hosts on our standards and protocols.
• Liaison Extraordinaire: Bridge communication between team members and management seamlessly.
• Cleanliness Captain: Ensure our dining area remains spotless and inviting.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Proven experience in a host/hostess or front-of-house role.
• A natural leader with a knack for motivating and supporting your team.
• A friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work when the action happens (evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Physical ability to keep up with the dynamic day-to-day (this includes standing for long periods and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs).
• Must be 18 years or older, reliable, dependable, and fluent in English.

• 14.00 to 16.00 an hour
