Role Overview:
As a Barback at Varsity Pins, you'll play an essential role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring our bar operations run smoothly. You'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, stocking inventory, assisting with opening and closing procedures, and enhancing our guests' overall experience with your prompt and courteous service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and Closing Assistance: Support bartenders in preparing for service and closing down, ensuring a seamless transition between shifts.
• Maintaining Cleanliness and Stock Levels: Keep the bar area pristine and well-organized, restocking supplies and managing inventory efficiently.
• Inventory Management: Restock liquor, syrups, glasses, and other essentials, prepare garnishes, change kegs, and maintain a clean storage area.
• Assisting Bartenders with Guest Service: Facilitate excellent customer service by greeting guests, assisting with orders, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaboration: Work closely with management and kitchen staff to ensure prompt and efficient service, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for guests.
• Emergency Situation Handling: Address unexpected situations quickly and efficiently, maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age.
• Flexibility: Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Personal Attributes: Friendly, punctual, responsible, and a strong team player. Must possess energy, organization, and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Experience: Prior experience in a restaurant or bar environment preferred.
• Licensing: Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid ABC license to serve alcohol.
