Patient Experience Specialist – ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC – Evansville, IN

We are looking for a full-time Patient Experience Specialist to join our team! This person will be our front office medical receptionist within a clinical setting in either outpatient or inpatient facilities. This is a full-time position.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Coordination and performance of all front office operations
  • Answering a multiline telephone
  • Greeting patients
  • Insurance verification and authorizations
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Completing necessary documentation
  • Supporting office staff as needed

Our ideal candidate would:

  • Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Have at least 1 year of related experience or training is preferred
  • Have previous experience in a customer service or clerical role
  • Display a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrate strong detail orientation with the ability to adapt to change
  • Demonstrate strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Have strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
