Summary/Objective

Our Team is actively seeking a highly motivated Outside Government Sales Representative who will be responsible for obtaining CE & AG Sales from all Louisiana State, Parish, and Local Municipalities with a heavier focus on Beauregard, Allen, Cameron, Calcasieu, Jefferson Davis, Evangeline, St. Landry, Acadia, Lafayette, St. Martin, Vermilion, Iberia, St. Mary, and Terrebonne Parishes.

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Essential Functions

The Outside Government Sales Representative will be responsible for increasing Governmental Market Share through building relationships with the appropriate buyers of the previous mentioned localities, attending and participating in all public meetings and collecting and bidding published bids for purchases posted through multiple established bidding websites.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years Sales and/or Customer Service Experience a must
• Strong track record of new business development
• Ability to have a sound understanding of government contracting including account structures, procurement processes, RFPs, and standard bid requests
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Outstanding executive presence
• Ability to structure your own time to maximize productivity
• Competitive in nature, yet able to be a team player
• Optimal candidate will have self-direction, initiative, and the need to succeed
• The ideal candidate would likely live in one of the 14 listed Parishes
