The Avenue at Wooster is a Assisted living, Post-Hospital Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Care Facility that offers a distinctive environment not commonly found in skilled nursing facilities. From our hotel-like environment to our all-private suites, the Avenue is committed to providing an excellent level of physical, medical, emotional, and spiritual support in an environment of comfort and respect. Our facility provides some of the area’s highest level of rehabilitation, nursing and medical support to individuals needing post-hospital care and services. We are looking for a committed individual with a reputation for being cheerful and friendly as they administer care to our residents. Our assisted living provides private living with assistance with everyday activities while still keeping your own privacy and independence. 

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Daily census and payer type tracking, including use of MITS and Mycare Ohio portal
• Insurance verification for all payer types: Medicare, Medicaid, Mycare, Managed Care, etc.
• Billing, follow up and collections for Private Pay and Medicaid (including Mycare Medicaid plans)
• Use of insurance portals, navinet, optum, provider gateway, mns, caresource, and availity
• Assisting families and residents with Medicaid application process and follow through
• Resident trust accounting, data entry and balancing
• Accurate and timely posting and tracking of cash receipts including importing electronic payment files and uploading electronic EOBs, ancillaries and month end procedures.
• Prior experience with Point Click Care and excel a plus
