Position Overview: Teacher Assistant, in conjunction with the Lead Teacher, will deliver bilingual instruction to 18 children with a focus on enhancing their developmental and academic skills.
Essential Job Functions
1. Assist the lead teacher with implementing the curriculum and providing daily learning and play activities
2. Assist the lead teacher with classroom management and positive behavior supports
3. Participate in teacher meetings and staff meetings
4. Participate in ongoing professional development and be part of a team that shares and works together to continuously improve professionally and organizationally.
Qualifications
· Assistant Teacher Certificate, or CDA Certification, and one or more years of experience in early education
· Advanced Spanish Language Skills favored
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
