HR Generalist- LMS Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in Learning Management System (LMS) development. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining an effective LMS to enhance our organization's learning and development initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of HR processes and a passion for leveraging technology to drive employee growth and organizational success.

Key Responsibilities:
1. LMS Development and Implementation:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand learning needs and design an LMS that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Work with Management to customize and configure the LMS platform to meet the specific requirements of our company, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the LMS, including data migration, system integration, and user training.
2. Content Management:
  • Develop and curate engaging and relevant e-learning content for various departments and employee levels.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of learning materials.
3. User Support and Training:
  • Provide ongoing support to LMS users, addressing technical issues and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees and administrators to maximize the utilization of the LMS features and functionalities.
4. Quality Assurance:
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of the LMS, gathering feedback from users, and implementing improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to learning and development.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with HR professionals, department heads, and IT teams to integrate the LMS with other HR systems and tools.
  • Communicate updates, changes, and best practices related to the LMS to all stakeholders.
6. Generalist Duties
  • Assist People Operations Manager in the administration of Profire’s benefits programs
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to performance objectives and initiatives located within Profire’s HRIS
  • Support People Operations Manager in maintaining compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Coordinate events with an events committee for all offices.
  • Publish monthly newsletters
  • Run the Employee of the Month program and include the winner in the monthly newsletter
  • Answer phone calls and greet visitors at the front desk.
  • Coordinate office supply needs for the local office
7. Executive Assistance
  • Assist the C-Suite with scheduling Investor Relations events and organizing IR contacts
  • Develop and edit monthly reports for the C-Level
  • Assist the C-Suite with administrative duties as requested
8. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources or, Instructional Design, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in developing and implementing Learning Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms, content creation tools, and instructional design principles.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of SCORM and other e-learning standards.
  • Familiarity with gamification and other innovative learning approaches.
  • Certification in instructional design or related field is a plus.
