PRODUCTION SCHEDULER

Pay Rate - $25.00 - $28.00 p/hr DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production schedulers use their knowledge of the production process and reports to create daily and weekly production schedules. They must also be able to comprehend reports and make recommendations about where improvements might be made by effectively scheduling employees, production schedulers help ensure that company objectives are achieved and that all deadlines are met. They must be able to multitask and provide quick responses to production problems. As issues may be unforeseen, production schedulers must know how to shift resources and ensure that employees and materials most effectively.

ESSENTIAL TASKS

· Create and maintain schedules.

· Use workers and resources in the most effective manner.

· Provide quick responses to production issues.

· Identify problems and help improve processes.

· Use software to generate reports and schedules.

· Ensure that company deadlines are met.

· Work directly with production team to facilitate production order production.

· Operate and maintain office machinery including copiers, computer, and printer.

· Works closely with Receiving and procurement departments to help schedule production.

· Assists Manager with duties on an as-needed basis

· Other duties as assigned by Manager

· Assist with Batch sheets

· Or other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/ KNOLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Must be self-directed and able to work without close supervision
• Hardworking, dependable, and safety conscious

· Bilingual - English/Spanish is preferred

· Good organization, scheduling and time management skills.

· Previous experience with administrative duties in an office setting preferred.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

· Good communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sitting for long periods of time, some standing, walking, carrying, bending, reaching.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalency required.

Associates Degree preferred but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
