IT Manager

Overview: We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, highly organized IT Manager to join our team. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of various IT projects within our organization with a focus on product production, manufacturing, logistics and sales systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, along with experience in product production, manufacturing, or logistics. Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to successful project completion are essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  2. Research, recommend and implement new ERP and other IT related software/tools
  3. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and define project objectives, with a specific focus on product production, manufacturing, and logistics.
  4. Monitor project progress and track key milestones to ensure timely delivery of IT solutions that support product production, manufacturing, and logistics processes.
  5. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues related to product production, manufacturing, and logistics, and escalate as necessary to ensure resolution.
  6. Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including project sponsors, steering committees, and executive leadership, with a focus on the impact on product production, manufacturing, and logistics.
  7. Manage project and resources effectively to ensure projects are completed within scope and budget constraints, with consideration for product production, manufacturing, and logistics requirements.
  8. Foster a collaborative team environment and facilitate effective communication among team members involved in product production, manufacturing, and logistics projects.
  9. Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects, with a focus on improving product production, manufacturing, and logistics processes.
  10. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT project management, product production, manufacturing, and logistics, and recommend process improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or 3 plus years of relevant experience.
  2. Proven experience as an IT Manager, with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing complex IT projects, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, particularly in relation to product production, manufacturing, and logistics.
  4. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams to successful project completion, with consideration for product production, manufacturing, and logistics requirements.
  5. Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including those related to product production, manufacturing, and logistics.
  6. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, particularly in relation to product production, manufacturing, and logistics.
