Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. is looking for a Product Software Engineer II to join their dynamic product development team. As a team member, you will be responsible for working with a group of software engineers and collaborating with development leads to ensure the successful implementation of products and solutions for clients. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be customer-focused, and have the ability to learn existing software development tools quickly. Above all, the candidate should love creating exceptional applications that exceed customer requirements.

The team is based in Columbia, Maryland, and works in a hybrid environment. Please note that remote work is not available.

**Note: This is a direct, 6-month temp-to-perm role, with a potential to become permanent after six (6) months.**

Here's what you will do in this role:

• Participate in the technical design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions that ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Build highly interactive and customized front-end and back-end applications for web, desktop, and/or mobile platforms.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure coding standards and code quality adherence.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new tools and frameworks to enhance software development processes.
• Continuously improve software development practices and processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Participate and collaborate in agile sprint ceremonies.
