Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Senior Director, Portfolio Marketing to join Procore’s global product marketing team as a groundbreaking leader. In this role, you’ll lead a global team of marketers who will revolutionize how construction is done. As a product market expert, you will build and lead an experienced portfolio marketing team focusing on developing product positioning and messaging, audience segmentation, persona development and solution mapping. You have a curious, calculated and collaborative working style and inspire those around you to closely align on our joint efforts to be persona obsessed. As a Senior Director, Portfolio Marketing, you and your team will wake up everyday thinking about our customers, and how we are persona driven in our marketing approach, woven tightly together with our Product, Sales, and Customer Success strategies. You bring awareness and adoption of products and services to our customers in the construction industry and ensure our team consistently understands and delivers on the full journey of our personas, and how that aligns to product launch plans that drive awareness, preference, purchase, adoption, and growth. You understand our market, and put the customer at the center of everything that you do. In this role, you are responsible for overseeing our global portfolio marketing team who is focused on delivering the right message to the right person at the right time. You understand the value of our full product portfolio (where we are and where we’re going) and how we provide value to our customers throughout their journey. You continuously put the customer at the center of everything we do. You are inspired by spending time with customers and learning about what keeps them up at night, and how we can help them solve their business challenges based on their largest pain points. You dive deep into understanding our key differentiators across our three main audiences including general contractors, subcontractors and owners.This position reports into VP of Product & Solutions Marketing and can be based remotely in the US with travel to our Procore offices when necessary. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.What you’ll do:Build, coach, and lead a best-in-class portfolio marketing organization across our key audiences and personas Develop clear and concise messaging and positioning to our target personas, and tell clear stories to engage the full funnel of the customer lifecycle, identifying innovative ways to deliver contentBe data driven in your approach to make decisions, and pivot as necessaryRally people behind your vision, and motivate cross-functional stakeholder to achieve joint goals through the key pillars of our corporate strategyDrive execution of the new and existing go-to-market strategy including the product launch processWork closely with our Product team, and cross-functional teams including GTM readiness, Market Insights and Customer Experience teams to develop strategy and content that enables the sales team to shorten the sale cycle and improve rates, while reducing churnBuild a communications strategy and compelling messaging to drive awareness and consideration for products, fully supporting product adoption among existing customersLead influencers, buyers and users for products and services to drive marketing programs strategy and provide insights to internal teamsWork closely with Product Leadership to understand the details of a product release, and translate that information into our customer solutions, messaging, and internal readiness as we prepare for product launchesBe an evangelist for the platform, solutions and product within the company, helping everyone understand key positioning and messagesMaintain a deep connection to the construction industry and the competitive landscapeWhat we’re looking for:10 years of Portfolio or Product Marketing Experience in software with a minimum of 4 years of SaaS experienceBA/BS or Equivalent, MBA a plusFlawless executive communication skills Proven experience managing multiple layers of marketers; evidence of shaping customer and data-driven strategies, driving the successful delivery of complex messaging hierarchiesProven success collaborating with product, customer success, sales, and executive teams to tell the story of our products and how we best engage customersDeep expertise in product positioning and can drive strategy and creation of internal and external product collateralAn analytical mindset with the ability to research and synthesize ample data about specific markets to help influence our product strategy.Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization as a tactical and strategic partner, coach, and advisorA strong capacity to navigate vagueness and drive clarity while remaining humble, hungry, and honestA deep connection to the construction industry and or the con-tech landscape is a plusAdditional InformationBase Pay Range $216,720 - $297,990. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role.
